Aloe Kalifornia KaleidoscopeStandard Australian ShepherdMeet Kali, full name, Kaleidoscope. The only name that felt fitting for this beautiful low white blue merle tricolor Aussie pup. She is one of the newest additions to our growing family, and we are really hoping she meets all of our expectations to become one of our foundation females in the future for our no-white Aussie goal!
My husband and I put ourselves through the absolute ringer to bring this girl and her sister, Puzzle, home. We flew all the way from California to Arkansas to get them, and flew back the same day to bring them home. It was absolutely miserable. We were tired, sore, and jet-lagged more than we even knew possible. Both girls were so good on the long flight, other passengers were shocked that there was puppies on board when we got off because they didn’t hear a peep!
Having these girls home with us now makes that trip worth every second. They are absolutely beautiful and have the best unique personalities. We wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Low/Medium Drive - Gentle - Loyal - SweetheartKali was originally the more shy of the two siblings. She stuck by our side everywhere we went, followed us everywhere, scared of everything that moved too fast. If you told her “no” to something she would pout and refuse to even come into the room with us until we apologized. She is a sensitive girl for sure. Despite being a bit scared at the start though, Kali has blossomed into the absolute sweetest girl with a lot more confidence. She runs circles around us in the yard, I swear she can jump 10x her body height, and she happily just flops over and sits totally still when you touch her because she just adores being loved on.
Kali loves to play with other dogs, it’s definitely her favorite part of the day to run around and chase everyone. She loves to get dirty, (much to my dismay) and play with her sister. Sisters are always the best friend you could ask for, and these girls know it! Kali is a little bit in the Awkward Aussie growth stage right now, but we are so excited to see what she looks like as she matures!
