Aloe Cocoa Pebble(Toy) Miniature American ShepherdOkay, I know I’m biased, but I think Pebble is the funniest dog we own. This tiny Blue merle tricolor Toy Aussie has a personality 20x the size of her. Her goal every day we wake up is just to make me laugh. She wags her tail so hard her whole body curls up like a shrimp each direction she swings it, and she will do spins so fast at my feet, I don’t know how she hasn’t drilled a hole in my floor.
Pebble brings a toy with her everywhere she goes, whether it’s her disgusting emotional support teddy bear, or an XL Kong that weighs more than she does, it’s coming with her! Going to the bathroom? Don’t worry, she’ll come with and bring a squeaky toy to loudly play with until you’re done. Let her outside to potty? Toy is coming with, no discussion. It’ll sit nicely in that puddle of mud until she’s done and she’ll bring it right back in, to put on the couch. Thanks, Pebble, I guess the cushions needed to be washed again anyway.
Low/Medium Drive - Loyal - Goofy - Ride or dieJokes aside, I absolutely adore this dog. I am not a little dog person, after growing up with Chihuahuas. Little dogs just never felt right for me. But Pebble totally changed my mindset. The personality, trainability, and loyalty of an Australian Shepherd in a tiny package, she is what I wish every little dog could be. A massive personality contained in a tiny body. Big enough to be the perfect cuddle buddy, who sleeps between my arms every night like a living stuffed animal, but small enough to be the perfect companion to go with me anywhere, always beside me or on my lap, never in my way.
Pebble knows she’s my little sidekick, so much so she also thinks she’s the boss of the pack too. So if any of them misbehave, you better believe Pebble is at my heels ready to put them in their place! She is my little backup. Absolutely no help at all, but it’s the thought that counts. She’s ready to go to war with me if I needed her to.
