Puzzle is one of the newest additions to the Aloe Aussie family, and we are really hoping she meets all of our expectations to become one of our foundation females in the future for our no-white Aussie goal!
My husband and I put ourselves through the absolute ringer to bring this girl and her sister, Kali, home. We made all the preparations, went over the plan and itinerary what felt like a million times, and hopped on that plane at the break of dawn to start our journey all the way from California to Arkansas. We sat anxiously on the flights, boarding plane after plane, so eager to meet these girls on the complete opposite side of the states.
After the precious cargo was obtained, we then hopped directly onto another plane to come back the same day. It was absolutely miserable. We were tired, sore, and jet-lagged more than we even knew possible. The girls were so good on the long flight, other passengers were shocked that there was puppies on board when we got off because they didn’t hear a peep!
Low/Medium Drive - Gentle - LoyalHaving these girls home with us now makes that trip worth every second. They are absolutely beautiful and have the best unique personalities. We wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Puzzle was originally the more outgoing of the two siblings. Excited to meet everyone, jumped up on people for love, in your face any chance she could get. Couldn’t get her to listen at all, she didn’t care to even look at us, just wanted to play play play! We were a little concerned she wouldn’t have the temperament we are looking for in our breeding program, as we prefer more laid-back easygoing Aussies for future companion puppies.
But as she has grown, Puzzle has settled down amazingly. The second we call her name during playtime, she stops everything to come running, plants her butt down on the ground at your feet and stares up at you with such eagerness and patience. She is ready to hear what you want her to do without a second thought. She is a great example of why you shouldn’t give up on a puppy just because they are a handful at the start, you never know what they’ll become. We are so eager to see how she blossoms as she matures even more.
